In 2021, the cultural landscape's response to the pandemic prompted an exploration. I conducted interviews with friends and acquaintances in the concert world to capture their perceptions, impressions, and emotions, with the aim of crafting a cinematic portrayal of this era.
The concept was not merely to depict the pandemic's impact on artists but also on the unsung heroes behind the scenes who play a pivotal role in our cultural tapestry. Adopting the perspective of a concert attendee, the intention was to showcase the comprehensive challenge posed by the loss of cultural experiences.
The Stage Design was conceived to evoke a cozy, intimate ambiance, juxtaposing it with the digital realm for a pronounced contrast. Through strategic cuts in the Zoom Interviews, viewers were meant to feel engaged in an active dialogue with the interviewees. Interspersing footage of past and present concerts served to underscore the void left by live performances in the absence of a live audience.
This project marked the culmination of my design school journey.
